The Museum of Egyptian Antiquities
Our guide will pick you up from your hotel to visit Egyptian Museum houses some of the world’s greatest ancient relics. The museum house over 250,000 genuine artefacts, including the treasures of the most famous Egyptian pharaoh, Tutankhamen. The gold and jewellery on display was enclosed in his tomb for over 3,500 years before it was discovered in the 1920s during excavations by famous archaeologist Howard Carter. Accompanied by your guide you will gain a deeper insight to the artefacts displayed and their context within the history and culture of ancient Egypt. For an additional charge you can visit the royal mummy room and look upon the mummies of Egypt's most famous pharaohs like Ramses II.
