Overview

At 7.00 AM, You will be escorted in an air conditioned vehicle from your hotel towards Alexandria (about 3 Hrs. Driving).
Start your tour with exploring the Catacombs of Kom El Shoqafa, dating back to the early of the 2nd century A.D., Then Pompey’s pillar dating back to the end of 3rd century and the remains of the Serapeum temple, the ancient temple of god Serapis.

The ancient lighthouse (Pharos) was one of the ancient seven wonders before it was completely destroyed. Now in its location stands the fort of Qaitbay dating back to 15th century.

We will end our tour by visiting the Modern Alexandria library; the Old library was very famous all over the world for its huge books capacity of different sciences and literature. It was damaged several times during the Greco Roman period until it vanished. New Library was inaugurated in 2002 and it is a must see in Alexandria that you will visit and a have a guided tour inside it.
