What To Expect

Mosque of Muhammad Ali
your tour guide will pick you up from your hotel to start your tour visiting Saladin Citadel “the Castle of Salah El-Dien”, built in 1183 A.D on El Moqattam, and inside it, you will find the alabaster mosque. The alabaster mosque is the most beautiful mosque in Egypt and it was built by Mohamed Ali, the ruler of Egypt for over 45 years (1805-1849). There are a lot of beautiful decorations at the ceiling of the mosque and the tomb of Mohamed Ali is still inside the mosque. Then you will have lunch at local restaurant ,  After that, you will visit old Cairo (Coptic Cairo) where you will visit the Hanging church (Suspended Church). Then move on to the church of St Serguis and Bacchus where you will see the crypt where Merry, Jesus and Josef the carpenter were hiding during their visit to the region. Then move on to Ben Ezra synagogue that is believed that it is the place where the Pharaoh’s daughter found Moses in the reeds at the Nile River. The last visit it will be to Khan El Khalili Bazaar, the oldest and the biggest bazaar in the Middle East. The bazaar is known for trading gold, fine silver, perfumes, copper, brassware, leather, antiques and much more. At the end of the tour, you will be back to your hotel in Cairo or Giza.
