What To Expect

Africa Safari Park

Our guide will pick you up from your hotel by private car going to Africano park which is around 2 hours from Cairo in Alexandria desert road. This is the first open zoo in Egypt and the Middle East was opened in 2004. Access to cars is limited due to the danger of many animals, and in some cases it is permitted to walk according to the gravity of the animals. The park is surrounded by a river that includes hippos, crocodiles and various fish, and you can see the animals up close in the river trip within the park. On the banks of the river you can take your meal at the African restaurant Zambezi, which serves African food and grills, to the tunes of African music. 22 species of rare reptiles such as Cobra, Watawat, Jarboua, turtles, falcons and various types of albums, which are covered by a cave in the parquet. It is not too late for the designers of the park to set up industrial falls to complete the African climate.

Then back to Cairo.

African Safari you can get up close but not in a dangerous way. Keepers are there to guide and talk about the exhibits. You will get a real sense of African wildlife wheaten you’re an animal lover or not. My guide Ahmed El Amir was great into explaining. He was great!!

Lots of fun,safari staff give you food for the animals,you're allowed to touch some of them. Ahmed the guide drives very safe and is also an excellent photographer.

Have to say this week with Achmed as our guide has just been amazing. He knows everyone, is thoughtful, fun, and his only concerns are our safety and enjoyment. We were a bit nervous at first, but Achmed had us comfortable and anxiously awaiting our next adventure.

The African Safari is fantastic. You get to see so many exotic animals up close and the boat cruise to the waterfall is like something from a movie. You get closer to the animals than most parks and feeding some of them is amazing, especially the bears and the Chimps that encourage you how to feed them. Lunch was a huge surprise as it is much better than one would expect from a park. Just a great day!
