A memorable trip and once in a lifetime experience!

My sister and I decided to book the seven days tour with the company and we were both feeling nervous and excited at the same time. We are experienced travellers and Egypt is on top of our list of places to see, so expectations are high.

The moment we arrived, we were greeted by friendly faces, which made us feel instantly at ease. Casper and Henny handled everything professionally and ensured that we were well taken care of from airport to hotel and vice versa.

Our Cairo sight-seeing tour was led by the most entertaining and passionate Egyptologist guide, Ahmed. We are equally passionate about history and culture so it was a treat for us that we had him for that day. There was not a dull moment with him, it felt like a family member had toured you around Cairo - it was fun, educational and interactive.

The second day consisted of a flight to Luxor then a full day tour of the city. We were met by yet another wonderful team. The tour was done so beautifully by our guide, Mikael and we felt safe all throughout. We were in awe of the places we have seen, it was like a dream! From the temples and tombs in the Valley of the Kings, truly a dream come true for us! Mikael was so patient with us and he gave us time for exploration and photo-taking.

Mr. Mahmood, the Luxor manager was ever so kind to us, assisting and helping with our luggage and securing tickets for our train ride to Aswan. Thank you, sir!

When we arrived in Aswan, we were greeted by a man who looked intimidating but had a heart of gold, Hussam. We had our lunch first then proceeded to do the tour. What we love about this tour is that it was so laidback. Hussam always ensured that we were part of the decision-making process - what we wanted to see and how much time we needed. It did not feel like a primary school fieldtrip.

We added the Abu Simbel trip as it was not included in the tour. We thought it was close to Aswan and it is a must-see. We spoke to the owner, Mr. Bassam and he was ever so accommodating. He tailored the tour according to our requirements with no issues.

Before we left Aswan, we went to see Abu Simbel with Hussam. It was breathtaking and an experience that we will never forget, worth the three hours drive!

We left Aswan in the evening and flew back to Cairo. Exhausting but who’s complaining? No one, that’s for sure. Our hearts were full and minds blown away by the marvellous sights that we have seen so far.

Last tour was Alexandria, which was roughly two hours drive north of Egypt. We were met by the soft-spoken and intelligent guide, Professor Zahar. We were provided with interesting information about the periods in Egyptian history e.g. Pharaonic and Hellinistic periods, and Library of Alexandria. And oh did I mention about the food? The things I would do in order to learn how to make the proper baba ganoush and flatbread! Also, they say if you want seafood, there’s no better place to eat in Egypt than in Alexandria, and I agree! Praise the fresh fish from the Mediterranean sea.

Finally, we want to thank Let’s Explore Egypt staff for making this trip happen. To our drivers, thank you for driving us safely to our destinations, you are the underrated stars of this trip! To Mr. Bassam, thank you for your kindness and patience, we appreciate everything that you have done for us. Until next time!
Exceeded my expectations!

I contacted the owner Mr Bassam via What’s App, 2 weeks ahead of time to ensure that everything will be perfectly organized - to verify details of our tour and hotel accommodations.

This trip is an absolutely brilliant way to explore Egypt. Our four local tour guides for Cairo, Luxor, Aswan & Alexandria were fantastic. They took the tour at our pace and know all the good places to go for the best shots and we have so many pictures to remember this trip. The hotels that were preselected for us were just amazing as well. The perfect place to unwind after a day exploring. We would totally recommend this tour to anyone looking to explore Egypt.

The itinerary was amended as per our requirement. Our drivers were superb - Henny & Team Leader Casper. All the guides were fantastic - Ahmed, Mikael, Hussam & Sahar. I would thoroughly recommend this tour...professionally run and well organized.
