Great Pyramid of Cheops (Khufu)
There is only one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World still standing today and it is the Pyramid of Khufu at Giza, Egypt’s Great Pyramid. His son, Khafre, and another pharaoh, Menkaure, are credited with building the other two pyramids at Giza, but neither of them is as large or impressive as Khufu’s Great Pyramid, completed around 2560 BC and originally standing 481 feet tall (455 feet today due to the removal of its outer casing and capstone).
Khufu, also known to history by the Greek name of Cheops, was the second pharaoh of the 4th dynasty of Ancient Egypt during the Old Kingdom Period. The 4th dynasty is considered to have been the ‘golden age’ of the Old Kingdom, largely because of the gigantic size and quality of the pyramids built during this time. Beginning with the pyramids the Khufu’s father, Sneferu, built at Dahshur, the 4th dynasty pyramids were larger and more refined than any others built before or after them.

Amazing

I travelled for work with friends just before Xmas 2020 and we had a full day with Nevin, exploring the giza pyramids, the sphinx and the local markets. Our tour guide was absolutely fantastic, knowledgeable and answered all our questions with detail, nothing was too much trouble for her. She also knew the best places to eat and managed to take us on a boat tour of the Nile too as the weather conditions were so good that day! I cannot recommend her services enough, and in all my travels she was honestly the best tour guide I've ever had! I'll be booking another tour again if ever I'm back to cairo
Egypt made magical thanks to Nevin!

Imagine that you are going to Cairo for business but you have only a short time. How can you possibly make the most of 3 days in Cairo when work is going to get in the way? Answer: call Nevin. I landed at 11am on a Sunday and was wisked away with Nevin and driver to see the Pyramids and Sphinx onna private tour. From the moment I got into the car everything was taken care of. I was guides through the pyramids and then afterwards (as per my request) we headed to the old Islamic market for the evening. On the way we stopped at a papyrus store and then enroute had some amazing falafel. It's little touches like that... Arranging for the food as we traveled to our next spot, that made the day and evening magical. And then we reached the market... On a Sunday evening it was empty enough to stroll around without crowds but still see the market come to life in the evening. So much shopping and the stopping for tea as we sat and took in the sights and sounds of a market that has existed for 1000 years! There seemed, at times, that there was no request Marvin couldn't tackle. On my last night there I asked if we could do a bit more shopping at a different night market and I had made mention of a stone called alexandrite. Sure enough she was able to procure some loose stones from a dealer to choose from. Thanks to Nevin, I have told my stories of Cairo to anyone who will listen and it has made me fall in love with Egypt (as my step father predicted). I will be bringing my family back with me on my next trip. Thank you so much Nevin :)
BEST TOUR GUIDES IN CAIRO

I am lucky to enought to say this is the second time I have been able to go to the Pyramids. I have a job where I travel the world and this time went with Nevin. We landed very late and sent of a last whim message to Nevin to see if she was availible upon a recommendation from a friend. In the morning we had a reply and she was ready to pick us up at an hours notice. We arrived at the pyramids and Nevin's knowledge of the Egyption culture, history and the pyramids themselves was throurough. During the tour Nevin knew where all the best places to take photos were. She also allowed us to ask as many questions as we liked about things that took our interest. During the tour Nevin was greeted like a best friend by all the gentleman who work at the pyramids, with multiple men saying "You have the BEST tour guide in Cairo!"- and they were not wrong. We had special access to certain tombs that were locked off to the public and only Nevin was allowed in-#VIPaccess! Skipping the details of the day (because that's what your going to be doing yourself) the main things you need to know are that Deluxe Tours are friendly, comforting and cater to exactly the kind of person you are, and the tour you want. I came 3 years ago to the pyramids and that tour doesnt even compare to the quality and relaxed vibe that came from Nevin. The perfect balance of information and time to ask specific things we wanted to know. Nevin and her husband are incredibly kind and friendly people and in a city like Cairo are invaluble to you as a tourist if you don't speak the language or know your way around. Nevin also is incredibly worldy, and we had chats and discussions on the car journey's about travel, London and life in general. Nevin also took the time to make sure we were fed before exploring and bought us some amazing falafal! Little touches like this make the day incredibly memorable. I felt completely at ease with her alongside us through the day. I can't wait until March when I'm back, and can organise something again with Nevin. If you are in Cairo and want to see the ancient wonders of this city you must book with Deluxe tours- they have my highest recommendation.
Sound and light show Giza Pyramids
AllyUK732, 01-03-2020
I was back in Cairo for business conference and contacted Nevine again for a bespoke evening tour of the pyramids with the sound and light show. Amazing show and as ever Nevine was the perfect guide for the event organised transport to and from the event and arranged tickets. The sound and light show was an amazing experience with the spectacle of the pyramids and the whole story telling of the history of the pyramids and the night sky backdrop was amazing. As always if i am ever in Egypt my first point of contact will be Nevine to organise a bespoke tour she is the best in her feild.

Nevin was just amazing at coordinating a few days with many requests! So professional, with extremely knowledgeable guides. She took my mother and aunt to Luxor for a day trip which they loved. Look forward to coming back in March to see more of Cairo!
