What To Expect

Pyramids of Giza
The Great Pyramid of Giza (also known as the Pyramid of Khufu or the Pyramid of Cheops) is the oldest and largest of the three pyramids in the Giza pyramid complex bordering present-day Giza in Greater Cairo, Egypt. It is the oldest of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World, and the only one to remain largely intact.

Great Pyramid of Cheops (Khufu)
Khufu's pyramid complex consists of a valley temple, now buried beneath the village of Nazlet el-Samman; diabase paving and nummulitic limestone walls have been found but the site has not been excavated.

Great Sphinx
The Great Sphinx of Giza, commonly referred to as the Sphinx of Giza or just the Sphinx, is a limestone statue of a reclining sphinx, a mythical creature with the body of a lion and the head of a human. Facing directly from West to East, it stands on the Giza Plateau on the west bank of the Nile in Giza, Egypt. The face of the Sphinx is generally believed to represent the pharaoh Khafre.

Cut from the bedrock, the original shape of the Sphinx has been restored with layers of blocks. It measures 73 m (240 ft) long from paw to tail, 20 m (66 ft) high from the base to the top of the head and 19 m (62 ft) wide at its rear haunches. It is the oldest known monumental sculpture in Egypt and is commonly believed to have been built by ancient Egyptians of the Old Kingdom during the reign of the pharaoh Khafre (c. 2558–2532 BC).

Most memorable part of the excursion was riding the camels. Was definitely a different experience. The tour guide was a true camper! He stuck with us the entire way and made sure we were protected! Heck of a guy! I will definitely not ever forget him nor this experience. Very knowledgeable as well. He was from Aswan and stated that this is his passion! Thanks aviator!

Osama was the best! He’s really genuine and took really good care of us. He made sure that we got what we were looking for and educated us on all of the history of Egypt. Osama took us to the pyramids, Egyptian museum and the Old Cairo Bazar. Everything was perfect and had a lot of fun. Osama was very knowledgeable and answered all of our questions. He’s also very good at taking pictures! I highly recommend EmoTours and Osama.
Amazing experience with Ahmed Elsayed !

We had a great visit with our guide Ahmed Elsayed, who speaks good English, and our driver Youssef who took us by air-conditioned car to all the pyramids. Ahmed explained the history of the pyramids and ancient Egypt to us. He waited for us when we entered the pyramids, and took a lot of pictures of us without us even asking him (this is a real plus). A great experience! I would recommend this tour with Ahmed to anyone who wants to visit the pyramids, have explanations about them and have comfort with the car.
Best day ever

TOLBA!! We had the best time touring Cairo for the day with Tolba. He treated us to ice cream and coffee by the pyramids, as well as being an excellent driver in Cairo traffic. He is extremely knowledgeable of Egyptian culture and very professional. Highly recommend booking any tour with this company!
Thank you Mohamed Tolba!!!

Mohamed Tolba went out of his way to pick us up 2 hours away from Cairo in Ain Sokhna, and had an amazing program together for us on our last day in Egypt. He treated us for coffee and tea then we went to the pyramids where he provided amazing details about the history and significance. Then the camel ride!! His partner was also incredibly kind and wanted to make the trip special for us! After the pyramids and Sphinx we went to the papyrus museum and to a silversmith who handmade 4 necklaces with the names of our family members in English on one side and hieroglyphics on the other. After starting his day probably around 3/4 am, he made sure we ended with some delicious sugarcane juice and got us to the airport in time for our afternoon departure. He truly gave us Egyptian hospitality and showed us the best of what this beautiful country has to offer. Thank you so much, Tolba!!
